However, organisations working towards this goal often face challenges due to geographic isolation or limited capacity. That\u2019s where the&nbsp;<strong>Coalition for Fisheries Transparency<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>(CFT)&nbsp;comes in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coalition connects and supports civil society organisations worldwide, facilitating collaboration and cross-regional communication to advance transparency policies. By strengthening these efforts, the Coalition helps drive significant policy changes towards&nbsp;<strong>transparent, equitable, and well-governed fisheries, free from harmful fishing practices and human rights abuses.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At\u00a0<strong>Natural Justice<\/strong>, we believe that legislation and government policies play a central role in shaping a responsible seafood sector. Scientific research should inform both government decisions and stakeholder strategies. A deeper understanding of\u00a0<strong>law, policy, and science<\/strong>\u00a0allows all stakeholders to align their efforts, minimise obstacles, and avoid duplication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By joining the Coalition<strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>as an affiliate, we aim to&nbsp;provide guidance and share our legal expertise&nbsp;to support civil society groups advocating for stronger fisheries transparency.
