Navigating Sustainable Seafood

Why we do it

The start of Natural Justice Consulting can be traced back to a 33-foot sailing boat in Indonesia, where I, Eva, helped the owner of the boat to navigate it from Malaysia to its Australian home. Witnessing fishermen in vessels much smaller than ours, often returning with meager or no catch, ignited a passion to safeguard the oceans and the communities dependent on them. Drawing on my legal expertise in environmental law and socio-economic human rights, Natural Justice Consulting was established in 2018.

Our mission is to assist organizations within the seafood sector in navigating the complexities of national, regional and international law. Whether it’s understanding the dynamics of their operations within these legal frameworks or aligning their seafood sourcing with the objectives of international conventions such as those set by UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) or International Labour Organization(ILO).
